This first photo was taken on Christmas Eve Day. The temperature was about -5 degrees. Do any of you know what this is? It's called a sun dog and is an atmospheric phenomenon caused by sunlight shining on ice crystals in the atmosphere, usually during very cold weather. You can read about it here

This picture was taken Christmas morning with the contrails criss-crossing the sky.
It's been snowing here again today. We are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches, but no blowing snow.
Linking these to Sky Watch Friday Season 6, Week 25.
Have a great weekend!
Until next time
